AnimaWeb 2009 Contest Rules
6th International Animation Film Festival Animateka '09

This year Animateka goes web again with a special competition! The Animateka AnimaWeb Contest is a web competition for computer made short web animation films. We wish to inspire young, aspiring artists from Eastern and Central Europe to take on animation and boost the production of animation film in our region. The Animateka AnimaWeb Contest will take place until the end of the 6th edition of Animateka International Animation Film Festival. The winning film will be selected by the audience through internet voting. The winner will be announced on the last day of the festival and invited as guest to the 7th Animateka festival edition in 2010.
Final deadline for submission is December 1st 2009, at 12:00 a.m. sharp, when the Internet voting will begin! Voting will close on December 12th 2009, at 12:00 a.m.

Rules and Regulations of Animateka AnimaWeb Contest
The first Animateka AnimaWeb Contest will take place as part of the 5th Animateka International Animation Film Festival. These are the rules pertaining to the participation in the contest:
1. The film must be entered by the rightful filmmaker.
2. The author is solely responsible for the content of his or her film. The organizer reserves the right to disallow films with inappropriate content to enter into competition.
3. The film must be free of any charges.
4. The number of entries per filmmaker is unlimited. However, every film must be uploaded as a separate entry.
5. Final deadline for submission is December 1st 2009, at 12:00 a.m. sharp!
6. The winning film will be selected by the audience through voting on Animateka AnimaWeb Contest on this page. The voting will commence on December 1st 2009, at 12:00 a.m., and close on December 12th 2009 at 12:00 a.m.
7. The winner will be announced and publicly screened on Saturday the 12th of December 2009 at the closing ceremony of the 6th Animateka International Animation Film Festival and promoted through the festival web page (www.animateka.si).
8. The author of the winning film will be invited as guest to the 7th Animateka festival in 2010.
9. Taking part in the festival implies acceptance without restrictions of these regulations and of interim decisions of the organization.

Your entry will be accepted upon reception of the other necessary information or materials, in English Please send these to animaweb@animateka.si:
– Short synopsis
– Short biography
– At least one digital still (JPEG high resolution (300 dpi) for festival promotion and publications purposes)
– Author’s website and contact info (e-mail and/or telephone).
How to enter the contest?
1. First, read the above rules and regulations.
2. Click ‘Join this Group’ here www.youtube.com/group/animaweb.
3. If you already have a YouTube account, sign in. If not, create a free YouTube account, and then sign in.
4. Click ‘Upload Video’, if you do not have any videos in your profile. If you do, click ‘Add to Group’.
5. Tag your film with ‘Animateka’ and add other information (title, synopsis etc.).
6. Send all the required materials (see Rules and Regulations) to animaweb@animateka.si
7. Your film will not be uploaded to the group automatically, but is subject to content review by the organizer.
8. After that, your film should be up on the Animateka AnimaWeb Contest page shortly.
Final deadline for submission is December 1st 2009, at 12:00 a.m. sharp!
