Youth initiative Wonders of short animation took place in Mladinski center Nova Gorica and lasted for eight months. In process of making of short animation were included secondary school students and youngsters with less opportunities, with difficulty to fulfil school obligations and drop outs of local Secondary schools in the Goriška region. Initiators of youth initiative worked on (with the help of outsource mentors) computer animation, music production, recording and editing of sound animation and methods of informal learning and education to lead youngsters through the world of short animation. They upgraded short animation with contents and music which was a reflect of thinking and observations of youngster in the local community and wider in the European context, against discrimination, necessity of intercultural dialog and acceptance of diversity. The short animation was shown on a Rock šok concert evening on the 5th of September 08' and there was also made a multimedia DVD. The initiators wanted to show the local community a youth initiative as a example of good practice of project learning for youngsters. They were actively taking part of preparing and carrying out of activities through learning and gain new knowledge which was usefully applied during secondary school.
